App and online ordering

Features

Hero campaigns

We support start screen Hero campaigns with portrait and lanscape images and videos arranged in a slideshow setup. Date and time publishing, deep linking and filter for country and language. The same format can also be used in Kiosk to minimize design work.

Complex products

Configure not only simple single products but also meals with combinations of products as well as step-by-step wizards and required condiment configurators to name a few.

Configurators, wizards

Products can be set up in a multitude of ways. At onboarding we'll recommend the smartest way of setting up your type of products to achieve the best user journey together with smart condiment upsell to boost the average check.

Deep linking

Starting from a digital campaign or by scanning a QR code our Linkbuilder will enable you to link the guest directly to the right view in the user journey. Support for store, order type, menu/time and to include adding a product/discount to the basket.

Favorite orders

Reordering customized products have never been easier. When creating an account customers will be able to save their customized products and even entire baskets for easy reordering.

Fully white-labeled

The Future Ordering App, Online and Kiosk UI is fully customizable. That means you'll be able to get your brand profile applied with your own typefaces, colors, shapes, icons, images and text copy coupled with your adapted user journey and product setup. Your ordering experience will look and feel exactly like your unique brand.

Guest ordering

If enabled, customers are not required to register an account before placing their first order but rather entice them to create an account after completing the order to receive benefits and save used payment.

Integrated delivery

We integrate with different delivery partners so that you can own the complete user journey through your own channels to keep brand awareness and the same high performing UI instead of channeling your delivery customers to external sites.

Marketing notifications

Communicate with your guest via push notifications, SMS messages or e-mail. In sync with the registered user profile settings and contracts, communication is done with full GDPR compliance.

Multiple menus, pricing

We support multiple menus during the same day and different menus on specific stores and countries/locales so that you can have localized products and pricing.

Multiple payments

With our payment providers Adyen, Klarna and Planet we support a range of different payment methods including traditional card payment (Mastercard, Visa etc) as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mobile Pay, Swish, Vipps, Blik among others.

Multi language/currency

We support a number of different languages and currencies to date. New languages will be added when needed. All text copy and fields are also customizable so specific text can be adopted to suit your particular business.

Order ahead

Order minutes to weeks in advance. Full support of different menus, pricing for different times, order types as well as campaign products. Stand-alone or with a two-way integration with the POS.

PCI, GDPR compliance

Future Ordering's Card Data Environment is certified PCI DSS 3.2 Service Provider Level 1. Our AOC (Attestation of Compliance) is available on request. This certification limits merchant liability/risk of accepting online payments and the "PSP/bank fees".

In our role as a Processor of Personal Data, we undertake technical and organizational measures to meet the requirements of Applicable Data Protection Law and ensures the rights of data subjects.

Registered user account

With a fully GDPR compliant user account you will own the relationship with your guests. We support the option for SSO with an external existing user account.

Store locator

Our store locator will display your restaurants in a GPS-sorted (when available) list or map view. Registered customers can pin their favorite stores for easy access when not enabling device GPS. Search for stores closest to a specific location and get store information like opening hours and contact numbers.

Table service

Let the customer add a table number when placing an order or simply scan a QR code on the table to automatically select the correct store and order type so that the first view that appears will be the menu.

Third-party integrations

Set your app apart and emphasize its uniqueness with our Frontend Extensibility that goes beyond standard templates. Enhance your app's functionality or create your custom features without the need for major backend changes.

Upsell, crossell logic

The Future Ordering platform comes with an advanced recommendation engine fully integrated in the user journey across channels for upselling, cross-selling, substitute products, and recommendations based on item select, added, store, time, and current basket contents.

App-exclusive features

Collection type; Curbside

Let your customers order for curbside delivery where you provide the service of bringing the order to their parked vehicle.

Proximity for curbside

Extend the curbside delivery with the addition to understand the guest ETA. Get informed when the guest has arrived and where the vehicle is located outside the store. This works as a part of the Management Suite with a third-party subscription.

Full screen utilization

When running Future Ordering in a native app container you'll be able to utilize the full height of the phone display which makes for an even more immersive user experience.

Push notifications

Leverage native app push notifications for order status as well as marketing. We also support Apple Live Activities notifications.

Vibrations

User interactions in the mobile app are enhanced with vibrations.
