Restaurant Brands International, the owner of the Burger King brand, announced last year its "Reclaim the Flame" strategy, a multi-layered plan aimed at increasing sales and improving operator profitability. King Food, the master franchisor for Burger King in Scandinavia, is transforming the guest experience and improving operations with a new kiosk strategy.

As the foodservice industry goes digital, Burger King wanted to improve the guest experience, bust the queues, increase efficiency and convenience. The company also saw an opportunity to improve operations and increase throughput in its restaurants.

Many restaurants have seen a change in guest behavior during and after the pandemic and looking to modern technology to fill gaps and adapt to new consumer behavior, as well as deploy staff where they are needed most.

"Future Ordering combines industry expertise with a high-performing user experience and powerful tools for centralized operations, seamlessly integrating with Oracle Simphony.
